How To Be Saved. (PDF file; 4 pages.)

Signs of Genuine Faith. Some people think they’re a Christian when they’re actually not. This is how you can tell the difference. (PDF file; 11 pages.)

04/28/2024: The Lord Is Our Shepherd. What sort of shepherd do we truly desire? Do we want the good shepherd, who will tell us things we don’t want to hear (because we need to hear them), or do we want a wicked shepherd who will allow us to live comfortably in our sin? (PDF file; 12 pages.)

04/28/2024: God Has Magnified His Word. Psalm 138 tells us that God has magnified His Word above His name (which is above every name). Those who tremble at His Word and submit to it will be saved, for Jesus will save all those who repent and believe in Him. However, those who reject His Word and seek to exalt themselves above it will face His wrath. (PDF file; 13 pages.)

04/27/2024: Words. The words that we speak are incredibly important. In fact, God will hold us accountable for what we teach and what we say. As Jesus once said, by our words we will be justified and by our words we will be condemned. (PDF file; 13 pages.)

04/27/2024: The Fall of Mankind. When God originally created the world it was perfect in every way. There was no suffering, or oppression, or sickness, or death. It was a literal paradise – but then mankind sinned, and everything changed. (PDF file; 22 pages.)

04/26/2024: The Source of Temptation. Temptation comes from our own desires. If we desire the things of the world then we will face all sorts of temptations. However, if we instead earnestly desire the things of God then we will have a strong defense against temptation. (PDF file; 13 pages.)

04/24/2024: Persecution of the Early Church. The book of Acts tells us that persecution arose against the early church very quickly. However, that persecution didn’t put an end to the church! Instead God filled the persecuted disciples with boldness and used it to help the church to grow. (PDF file; 14 pages.)

04/19/2024: Cornelius. God used the centurion Cornelius to teach the early church that the Gentiles were also heirs of salvation. (PDF file; 15 pages.)

04/17/2024: When We Are Distressed. There are some people who reject God when painful things happen to them (such as the loss of a loved one). When David was at the lowest point in his life, he sought the Lord – and that’s where he found victory. (PDF file; 16 pages.)

04/15/2024: The Generation To Come. God wants each generation to teach the next generation about all the great things He’s done, so they don’t repeat the mistakes of the past (and suffer for it). (PDF file; 14 pages.)

04/02/2024: Philemon. When Paul wrote to Philemon about his runaway slave Onesimus he could have been harsh with him and used his apostolic authority to make demands. However, he didn’t do that. Instead he demonstrated what it means to treat other people as brothers in Christ. Paul was gentle, but he still made it clear what he wanted Philemon to do. (PDF file; 12 pages.)

04/01/2024: When God Rescued Ahab. There was once a time when God gave a mighty military victory to the wicked king Ahab – the very king who introduced Baal worship to Israel and slaughtered God’s prophets. Why did God do such a thing? Because His glory was at stake. (PDF file; 12 pages.)

03/31/2024: Dead Unto Sin. Thanks to the death and resurrection of Christ, all Christians are dead unto sin. Because of Christ we can overcome our sins! We’re not slaves to sin anymore. God has called us to wage war against the sin in our life instead of indulging in it. The question is this: do we want to? (PDF file; 13 pages.)

03/30/2024: David and Bathsheba. Psalm 51 was written after David committed adultery with Bathsheba and murdered her husband. It’s a great example of what genuine repentance looks like. (PDF file; 17 pages.)

03/30/2024: Promises. God required Israel to keep the promise they made to the Gibeonites, even though they were tricked into making it. This tells us something about how God views the promises that we make. (PDF file; 16 pages.)

03/30/2024: The Desire Of Our Heart. The most important thing I can tell those who aren’t saved is that they need to repent of their sins and believe in Jesus so they won’t be cast into Hell. The most important thing I can tell those who are saved is that God doesn’t want a portion of us; instead He wants all of us. Can we truly say that God is the only thing that we desire? Do we genuinely love Him with all of our heart? For that matter, do we genuinely desire God at all – or do we just want Him around to solve our problems? (PDF file; 13 pages.)

03/29/2024: King Uzziah. This king had it all: money, power, and fame. God blessed him as long as he faithfully served the Lord – until one day he decided that the rules didn’t apply to him, and he lost everything. (PDF file; 13 pages.)

03/29/2024: The Plagues of Egypt. There are striking parallels between the 10 plagues that God sent upon ancient Egypt, and the judgments that God will pour out upon the world during the seven-year tribulation period. (PDF file; 16 pages.)

03/29/2024: The Unrighteous Steward. Jesus once taught a parable about a man who used his job to help other people so that one day they could help him in return. The moral to that parable is that Christians should do as much good as possible to as many people as possible, because in Heaven people will remember the good things we did for them and will invite us into their homes. (PDF file; 14 pages.)

03/29/2024: Romans 16. In the last chapter of Romans the apostle Paul takes time to thank a number of people. Although it’s easy to skip passages that are full of names we don’t know, this chapter is actually very encouraging and uplifting – once you see what’s really going on. God knows about our acts of service and He doesn’t forget them, and that’s immensely comforting. (PDF file; 14 pages.)

03/28/2024: Prepare the Way. When Jesus Christ was born in Bethlehem it shouldn’t have come as a surprise. God had been preparing the way for the Messiah for hundreds of years! By the time He appeared, Israel should have known exactly who He was, where He was from, and what He came to do. (PDF file; 16 pages.)

03/28/2024: The Afterlife. This is a look at the afterlife. When people die they either go to Heaven or Hell. There’s no third option! Where people go depends entirely upon their relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. (PDF file; 20 pages.)

03/27/2024: The God of the Old Testament. Some people claim that the God of the Old Testament was cruel and full of wrath, while the God of the New Testament is loving and kind. The truth is that God never changes! The Lord showed incredible patience and mercy throughout the Old Testament (even though some people overlook it). God’s love can clearly be seen in both the Old and New Testaments. (PDF file; 15 pages.)

03/27/2024: Finishing the Course. This lesson takes a look at two people from the Bible. The first is Demas, who started out well but then abandoned the faith; the second is Manasseh, who started out as an idolatrous murderer but repented. What matters isn’t how you start your life, but how you finish it. That is the difference between Heaven and Hell. (PDF file; 10 pages.)

03/25/2024: The Holy Spirit. In the church age all Christians have the Holy Spirit sealed within them. It’s impossible for us to lose the Holy Spirit – but that wasn’t the case in the Old Testament, and it won’t be the case for those who are saved after the rapture. (PDF file; 19 pages.)

03/24/2024: The Wise Men. When Jesus came the first time, the people who were watching for him were Gentile wise men from a distant land – not the religious leaders of His day. Even though God revealed the coming of the Messiah through the prophets, His own people missed it. One day this same Messiah is going to return. Are you watching for the signs that He’s revealed to us through His prophets, or are you going to be caught by surprise when He appears? (PDF file; 20 pages.)

03/24/2024: The Events of the Tribulation. A look at what the book of Revelation has to say about the events of the seven-year tribulation period. (PDF file; 30 pages.)

03/24/2024: Heaven. A look at some additional things the Bible has to say about Heaven. (PDF file; 23 pages.)

03/23/2024: Fools. A brief look at what the Bible has to say about fools. (PDF file; 17 pages.)

03/23/2024: Psalm 119. This psalm is the longest chapter in the Bible. It can be interpreted as the journey of a new Christian through the trials of this life, as he learns to love the Word of God. (PDF file; 21 pages.)

03/23/2024: The Levitical System. This is a high-level overview of the Levitical system – the Levites, the tabernacle, the Ark of the Covenant, etc. Why does this system matter? Because it points to Christ. (PDF file; 27 pages.)

03/23/2024: Overview of the Psalms. The book of Psalms is a fascinating book. It contains praise and thanksgiving, as well as lamentation and suffering. It has wisdom, prophecy, and history. Above all, though, it magnifies the Lord. (PDF file; 13 pages.)

03/23/2024: Before the Beginning. What existed before the universe was created? Why did God create the universe? The Bible gives us the answer to both of those questions. (PDF file; 12 pages.)

03/22/2024: Job. When terrible things happened to Job, he said that God must have done something wrong. After all, Job was a righteous man and he didn’t deserve to be treated like that! Job condemned God. This was a terrible sin – and yet that’s exactly what many people do when tragedy strikes their life. (PDF file; 37 pages.)

03/22/2024: Mephibosheth. Mephibosheth is one of the most tragic characters in the Bible. He was a righteous man who suffered greatly due to circumstances beyond his control. All of his problems were caused by the sins of others and there wasn’t a single thing he could do about it. Mephibosheth illustrates a very important principle: this life isn’t fair. God never promised that in this life good things would happen to good people and bad things would happen to bad people. If we expect God to prevent our life from being painful then we’re going to be very confused and upset. (PDF file; 16 pages.)

03/21/2024: Colonial America’s Dark Side. It’s true that some of the people who left the Old World in the 17th and 18th century to come to the new world, and found this nation, were fleeing religious persecution. However, it turns out they actually had no moral problem with persecution; instead they wanted to be the ones doing the persecuting. They fled one state church to start their own. They fled persecution and then passed laws condemning unbelievers to death. People were required to attend the state churches, and agree with the state-mandated messages preached by their pastor – or else be prosecuted as criminals. Business owners could be criminally prosecuted even if they’d broken no laws and done nothing wrong. In some ways the colonial era was a time of terrible tyranny, not an era of freedom and tolerance. (PDF file; 32 pages.)

03/21/2024: Babylon. Some people have said that the Bible is the tale of two cities: the wicked city of Babylon (which represents organized rebellion against God), and the holy city of Jerusalem. This is a look at Babylon. (PDF file; 14 pages.)

03/20/2024: Festivals. In the Mosaic Law the Lord gave Israel 8 festivals. All of these holy days were prophetic and looked forward to a marvelous work that one day Christ would accomplish. Four of these have been fulfilled, and four are yet to come to pass. (PDF file; 24 pages.)

03/19/2024: Sacrifices. There are six major different categories of sacrifices in the Levitical system. Understanding what they are and how they’re different will help us understand the Bible – because all of them point to Christ. (PDF file; 17 pages.)

03/18/2024: Mormonism. Mormonism isn’t the same thing as Christianity. It teaches a completely different view of God, Jesus, salvation, the gospel, the resurrection, and the afterlife – one that’s contrary to what the Bible teaches. Following the tenants of Mormonism will not lead to salvation. Mormonism is yet another part of the wide gate that leads many people to destruction. (PDF file; 30 pages.)

03/17/2024: The Order of Melchizedek. The reason Jesus can save us is because He’s not a high priest from the Levitical priesthood; instead He’s a high priest after the order of Melchizedek. (PDF file; 10 pages.)

03/17/2024: Angels. Angels are very popular in the modern world, but much of what our culture has to say about angels is wrong. This document takes a look at what the Bible has to say about this fascinating subject. (PDF file; 24 pages.)

03/16/2024: Demons. This document takes a look at what the Bible has to say about the devil, demons, and exorcisms. (PDF file; 30 pages.)

03/09/2024: Treasures in Heaven. The Lord Jesus Christ commanded us to lay up our treasures in Heaven so that we will never lose them. He also promised to give crowns as rewards to those who do certain things in this life. One day we will cast our crowns before the throne of God and use them to worship Him – but we can only do that if we have obtained a crown in the first place. (PDF file; 14 pages.)

03/09/2024: Who Was Jesus? Jesus didn’t claim to be just a wise man or a good moral teacher. Instead He claimed to be God Himself – the divine Son of God. (PDF file; 25 pages.)

03/09/2024: The Case for the Bible. God has given us many good reasons to believe that the Bible is true. (PDF file; 29 pages.)

03/08/2024: The Resurrection. There are many solid reasons for believing that the resurrection of Jesus Christ isn’t a myth, but is is a true historical event that actually happened. Jesus really did rise from the grave on the third day, leaving His tomb empty. (PDF file; 33 pages.)

03/07/2024: Catholicism. The Catholic Church teaches salvation by works, which the Bible condemns as a false gospel that cannot save anyone. Those who believe in that false gospel aren’t saved; instead they’re on the road to Hell. We are saved by grace alone – not of works. (PDF file; 124 pages.)

03/06/2024: Concerning Bible Translations. Nearly all modern translations of the Bible are based on the idea that its original text has been forever lost, and the best we can do is make guesses about what it might have said. (This includes the NIV, ESV, RSV, NJKV, HCSB, etc.) The King James Bible is based on a wholly different principle, and that’s why I trust it – and reject the corrupted modern versions. The biggest issue isn’t how you translate the text, but what text you translate. (PDF file; 26 pages.)

03/04/2024: The Age of Accountability. The idea of the “age of accountability” is a popular doctrine, but there’s no Biblical support for it. What the Bible actually teaches is very different. (PDF file; 15 pages.)

03/03/2024: The Millennial Kingdom. The millennium isn’t a metaphor for the age we’re living in now; instead it’s a future period of time when the Lord Jesus Christ will reign over this world from Israel as the King of Kings and Lord of Lord. This paper takes a look at the many things the Old Testament has to say about that coming glorious era. (PDF file; 22 pages.)

03/02/2024: The Theology of Covenants. Covenant theology teaches that the church has replaced Israel as God’s chosen people, and prophecy should be interpreted literally. However, that’s not what the Bible teaches. All prophecy that’s ever been fulfilled has been fulfilled literally. That means the church and Israel are two different things (although there are Jews in the church). It also means that one day there will be a literal rapture, tribulation, antichrist, Mark of the Beast, and millennium. (PDF file; 22 pages.)

03/02/2024: The Book with a Blessing. God promised to bless those who read Revelation and pay attention to it, and yet many Christians today ignore prophecy entirely. Not only does that attitude dishonor God, but it also makes it impossible to understand numerous passages throughout the Bible. (PDF file; 13 pages.)

03/01/2024: The Resurrection of Jesus Christ. There are 4 accounts of the resurrection of Jesus in the Bible (found in Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John). It’s surprisingly difficult to reconcile these accounts. This paper does exactly that and explains how events unfolded on the day of the resurrection. (PDF file; 21 pages.)

03/01/2024: Imprecatory Psalms. There are some psalms in the Bible that ask God to curse people. Those psalms give us a glimpse of God’s intense anger at the wicked – an anger that’s entirely avoidable, if we repent of our sins and believe in Jesus. (PDF file; 17 pages.)

02/28/2024: The Nephilim. The Bible teaches that before the Flood of Noah, demons had children with human women and produced the nephilim – a powerful but evil race of giants. (PDF file; 12 pages.)

02/28/2024: The Case for Jesus. The Bible testifies that Jesus was a real person who actually existed – and so does the historical record. (PDF file; 14 pages.)

02/26/2024: On Heaven. The Bible has a great deal to say about Heaven and the world to come. It’s going to be a far more exciting place than people realize! (PDF file; 18 pages.)

02/25/2024: Contending for the Faith. God hasn’t given the church the option of limiting its message in order to reach a wider audience. Instead He requires us to defend and proclaim everything He has taught us. (PDF file; 13 pages.)

02/25/2024: The Blood of the Lamb. The only way we can be saved is if an innocent and sinless party takes upon himself the punishment that our sins deserve. Forgiveness of sins requires the shedding of blood, and the only sacrifice God will accept is the one that Jesus made. There is no other way. (PDF file; 12 pages.)

02/24/2024: The Demise of Preaching. There are a few times in the Bible when scribes read the entire Mosaic Law to the people. The apostle Paul once preached a sermon that lasted all night and to the next morning. How many churchgoers today do you think would tolerate that sort of thing? I fear that many churchgoers have more of a passion for the things of this world than they do the things of God. (PDF file; 9 pages.)

02/23/2024: Salvation in the Tribulation. It will be possible to be saved after the rapture. However, those who are saved in that dispensation won’t be given some of the privileges that the church enjoys today. It’s far better to be saved now than to wait. (PDF file; 13 pages.)

02/23/2024: The Purpose of the Tribulation. Why is God going to send a 7 year period of “great tribulation” upon the world? The Bible gives us the answer: God is going to use this period to save the Jews and turn their heart back to Him. (PDF file; 11 pages.)

02/21/2024: Preterism. Preterism teaches that the book of Revelation was fulfilled in 70 AD. It claims the tribulation, the antichrist, and the Second Coming already happened. I believe this view is wrong and directly contracts the Bible. (PDF file; 16 pages.)

02/21/2024: Judging the Bible. Many people within the church judge the Bible. They accept some parts of it and reject others. Jesus, however, never did that. He believed everything it said (including parts like the story of Jonah) and He obeyed all of its commands. (PDF file; 12 pages.)

02/19/2024: Ghosts. The Bible teaches that there’s no such thing as ghosts. However, there are demons, and they can take on the appearance of ghosts to deceive people and lure them away from God. (PDF file; 14 pages.)

02/18/2024: What About Gluttony? The Bible teaches there’s only one sin that’s committed against our bodies, and it’s sexual immorality – not being overweight. The Bible doesn’t teach that being fat is a sin. (PDF file; 11 pages.)

02/18/2024: Generosity. God commands Christians to demonstrate their love by giving generously to those who are in need. If you never put your love into action then it doesn’t do others any good. (PDF file; 12 pages.)

02/18/2024: The Principle of Separation. God requires us to separate from sinful organizations, not join forces with them to accomplish a common good. (PDF file; 6 pages.)

02/17/2024: Holiness. The holiness of God is a very serious matter. In order for us to stand in His presence, and not be cast into Hell, we must be holy as well. (PDF file; 14 pages.)

02/17/2024: Time. There’s a very important truth hidden in the list of names that’s found in 1 Chronicles. Those chapters (which people tend to skip) can teach us what things in life matter, and what things don’t. (PDF file; 5 pages.)

02/17/2024: No One Knows. When Jesus said that no one knows the hour of His return, He was talking about His return at the end of the tribulation – not His return at the rapture. The apostle Paul taught that the rapture shouldn’t take the church by surprise. We should be watching for it and expecting it. (PDF file; 9 pages.)

02/16/2024: The Most Difficult Book In The Bible. The book that seems to give people the most trouble isn’t Revelation, but Ecclesiastes. However, its message is exceptionally relevant to our time in history. We need to hear what this book has to say. (PDF file; 7 pages.)

02/16/2024: The Meek. God prizes those who are meek, not those who selfishly oppress others. (PDF file; 10 pages.)

02/16/2024: The Glorious Appearing. We should be longing for the return of the Lord Jesus Christ, not dreading it. (PDF file; 4 pages.)

02/14/2024: Pre-Tribulation Rapture. The Bible teaches that one day the Lord Jesus Christ will return to this world for His church. I believe this will happen before the time that’s commonly called the “great tribulation”. (PDF file; 13 pages.)

02/12/2024: Divine Choice. The Bible teaches that God chooses to save some people, and chooses not to save others. The reason anyone is saved is because God chose them – not because they chose God. (PDF file; 9 pages.)

02/12/2024: There Are No Personal Words From God. 2 Timothy 3:16-17 tells us that the Bible contains everything we need to perform every good work in this life. The Bible is truly all that we need – which is why God no longer speaks to us directly. (PDF file; 8 pages.)

02/12/2024: The Modern Practice Of Tithing Is Not Biblical. The modern practice of “tithing” bears no relationship to what the Bible actually has to say about tithing. On top of that, God never asked the church to tithe in the first place. Instead He gave us a very different set of instructions. (PDF file; 22 pages.)

02/11/2024: Naming False Teachers. There’s nothing loving about refusing to call out false teachers by name. (PDF file; 8 pages.)

02/09/2024: The Ultimate Proof. A look at the ultimate proof that God created the universe. (PDF file; 8 pages.)

02/09/2024: Messianic Prophecies. A brief look at many of the Old Testament prophecies that foretold the person and work of the Messiah. (PDF file; 21 pages.)

02/09/2024: Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God. A quote from Jonathan Edwards’ famous sermon. (PDF file; 4 pages.)

02/09/2024: God’s Library. The Book of Life is fairly well-known, but that’s not the only Heavenly book the Bible mentions. There’s also the Book of Tears and the Book of Remembrance. (PDF file; 12 pages.)

02/09/2024: Who Is The Restrainer? The apostle Paul said the reason the antichrist has not yet appeared is because someone is restraining him. The common view is that the Holy Spirit is the Restrainer, but I’m not convinced that’s what the Bible teaches. (PDF file; 8 pages.)

02/09/2024: Marriage After The Resurrection. Jesus told the Sadducees that there would be no marriage in the New Heaven and Earth that He will create after the final Day of Judgment. But there are no Scriptures which teach that the resurrected church will be excluded from marriage during the millennium. (PDF file; 19 pages.)

02/08/2024: Judge Not. Does the Bible forbid us from judging others? No, it doesn’t. Instead it does the opposite: it requires us to confront and rebuke sin in the church. (PDF file; 8 pages.)

02/08/2024: When Men Accuse God. Although there may be times when God allows terrible things to happen to us, we have no right to condemn Him. We are not greater or wiser than God. (PDF file; 9 pages.)

02/08/2024: How Salvation Works. This is an in-depth look at how salvation works. Why do we need to be saved? How are we saved? What role does Christ play? How does Christ play that role? (PDF file; 16 pages.)

02/07/2024: Arminianism vs Calvinism: Does It Matter? If the truth matters to God (which it does) then it ought to matter to us as well. (PDF file; 6 pages.)

02/07/2024: Longing For Heaven. The Bible doesn’t teach we’re in danger of being so Heavenly minded that we’re of no Earthy good. Instead it does the opposite: it warns us that we can easily become so earthly minded that we’re of no Heavenly good. (PDF file; 5 pages.)

02/07/2024: Do Pastors Have The Power To Marry People? No, they don’t. The Bible never gives them that power, because that’s not how marriage works. (PDF file; 5 pages.)

02/06/2024: Future Events. This is a brief look at the major events that will happen between now and the creation of the New Heaven and Earth. (PDF file; 4 pages.)

02/06/2024: Where Are All The Political Sermons? The prophets of the Old Testament rebuked kings all the time. Where are the modern pastors who have that same courage? (PDF file; 7 pages.)

02/06/2024: Dreams and Visions of Heaven. There are good reasons to not trust the “Heaven tourism” books that are so common these days. We’re better off sticking with what the Bible teaches about Heaven. (PDF file; 5 pages.)

02/06/2024: How To Earn Heavenly Crowns. The Bible speaks of 3 different types of Heavenly crowns, which are given as rewards. One day we will use these crows to glorify God. This is how you earn them. (PDF file; 6 pages.)

02/06/2024: Sabbath Keeping. God doesn’t require Christians in the church age to rest on the seventh day of the week. (PDF file; 6 pages.)

02/06/2024: Mansions in Heaven. The Bible really does teach that we have individual dwelling places in Heaven, which God has prepared for us. We are not going to spend eternity homeless. (PDF file; 6 pages.)

02/06/2024: Good Friday. If Jesus was in the grave for 3 days and 3 nights then He must have died on a Thursday, not a Friday. (PDF file; 6 pages.)

02/04/2024: Does the Bible Teach The Flood Was Global? Yes. Yes it does. (PDF file; 7 pages.)

02/04/2024: Thee, Thy, and Thou. These archaic words of the KJV allow the reader to distinguish between singular and plural pronouns – a distinction that’s lost in other translations. (PDF file; 2 pages.)

02/04/2024: Degrees of Eternal Damnation. Everlasting torment will be worse for some than for others. (PDF file; 6 pages.)

02/03/2024: Wine Is A Blessing. The Bible teaches that drunkenness is a terrible sin, but wine is a blessing. (PDF file; 9 pages.)

02/03/2024: The Mark of the Beast. The Mark of the Beast isn’t an implanted computer chip. (PDF file; 5 pages.)

02/03/2024: Polygamy. Polygamy is a terrible idea, and it’s illegal, but it’s not a sin. (PDF file; 6 pages.)

02/02/2024: The Work of God. Why are there so many times in life when God allows things to happen that we don’t understand? It’s because God wants us to live by faith, not by sight. (PDF file; 4 pages.)

02/02/2024: Satan’s Access To Heaven. The War in Heaven is a future event, not a past event. (PDF file; 5 pages.)

02/02/2024: Fake Prophecies vs Real Prophecies. The prophecies found outside the Bible are either incredibly vague or very wrong. The prophecies found inside the Bible are rich in detail – and they’re always fulfilled. (PDF file; 4 pages.)

02/02/2024: Slavery. The system of indentured servitude that existed under the Mosaic Law was completely different from the system of slavery that was once practiced in this country. (PDF file; 7 pages.)

02/02/2024: Forgiving Those Who Are Not Sorry. There’s no Biblical command to forgive those who aren’t sorry. Even God Himself doesn’t do that. (PDF file; 3 pages.)

02/01/2024: The Two Raptures The Bible teaches that there will be two different raptures: one that takes place before the Day of the Lord (the tribulation), and one that takes place afterward. (PDF file; 3 pages.)

02/01/2024: The God of Prophecy. God doesn’t want us to be ignorant of prophecy. Instead He wants us to know it and to be watching for His return. (PDF file; 4 pages.)

02/01/2024: Sabbath Worship In The Millennium. During the millennium, the whole world will worship the Lord Jesus Christ each Sabbath day (the seventh day of the week – Saturday). (PDF file; 2 pages.)

02/01/2024: Messianic Psalms. The book of Psalms contains a lot of prophetic content – including prophecies about the Messiah, which were written a thousand years before He appeared. (PDF file; 14 pages.)

02/01/2024: A “Secret” Rapture?. It’s true no one knows when the rapture will happen. However, when it does happen it’s not going to be a secret. The whole world will definitely notice. (PDF file; 3 pages.)

02/01/2024: A Possible Old Testament Rapture Verse. There’s a passage in Isaiah that may be talking about the rapture. (PDF file; 2 pages.)

1/31/2024: Cain. This takes a close look at the life of Cain. There’s a moral to this story: before God will accept your offering He must first accept you. (PDF file; 16 pages.)

1/31/2024: Theophanies. This document takes a look at some of the times when the Lord Jesus Christ appeared in the Old Testament. (PDF file; 12 pages.)

1/31/2024: Casting Lots. There’s strong Biblical support for making certain very important decisions by casting lots. Even the apostles did this! At the same time, no apostle ever suggested that churches should vote on issues – yet today casting lots is unheard of, while voting is common in churches. I think that’s a problem. (PDF file; 10 pages.)

1/30/2024: Was Mary A Perpetual Virgin? The Catholic Church says Mary remained a virgin her entire life. The Bible says otherwise. (PDF file; 6 pages.)

1/30/2024: What About Those Who Never Heard The Gospel? If it’s true that God doesn’t send people to Hell if they’ve never heard the gospel, the best thing the church can do is never tell anyone the gospel again. But that’s obviously nonsense! (PDF file; 4 pages.)

1/30/2024: The Unforgivable Sin. There are two unforgivable sins mentioned in the Bible. Neither of them can be committed during the church age. (PDF file; 5 pages.)

1/30/2024: Where Was Eden? Some people claim that the Garden of Eden was located in what’s now Iraq. I don’t think the evidence supports that claim. (PDF file; 2 pages.)

1/30/2024: The Shroud of Turin. This is why I believe the Shroud of Turin wasn’t used to bury Jesus. (PDF file; 4 pages.)

1/30/2024: The Lost Letter to Laodicea. Colossians 4 tells us that Paul wrote a letter to the Laodicean church, which wasn’t included in the Bible. It’s possible that a portion of this letter may have been preserved in the 1388 edition of John Wycliffe’s New Testament. (PDF file; 10 pages.)

1/29/2024: The Curse of Jehoiakim. If Jesus had been the natural son of Joseph then that would have disqualified Him from being the Messiah, because He would have fallen under the curse that was placed upon Jehoiakim. (PDF file; 4 pages.)

1/29/2024: The Wife of Jehovah. The New Testament teaches that the church is the bride of Christ. The Old Testament teaches that Israel was the wife of Jehovah (before God divorced her). Those are two different things. (PDF file; 8 pages.)

1/29/2024: Hark the Herald Angels Sing. Do angels actually sing? (PDF file; 4 pages.)

1/29/2024: The Land Given To Israel. Just how much land did God promise to give to Abraham and his descendants? (PDF file; 2 pages.)

1/29/2024: Joy to the World: A Christmas Song? The famous song “Joy to the World” makes more sense if it’s talking about Christ’s second coming, not His first. (PDF file; 3 pages.)

1/29/2024: Fundamentalists. Fundamentalism was originally defined in 1910 as 5 essential doctrines of the Christian faith. These doctrines truly are foundational; if any of them are false then the gospel is false as well. (PDF file; 4 pages.)

1/28/2024: Bound Him A Thousand Years. There are four major ways to interpret Revelation: Preterism, Historicism, Amillennialism, and Premillennialism. The premillennial view is the one that teaches a literal rapture, tribulation, antichrist, and Mark of the Beast. It also teaches that one day Christ will reign over this world from Jerusalem as the King of Kings. This document explores how we can know that premillennialism is correct. (PDF file; 19 pages.)

1/28/2024: Biblical Creationism. God created the universe and all that it contains in 6 days, not in 14 billion years. (PDF file; 14 pages.)

1/28/2024: Bible Study. It’s not enough to own a copy of the Bible and use it to collect dust on a shelf. We must read it, study it, and be passionate about it. (PDF file; 17 pages.)

1/28/2024: Bible Codes. Bible codes are a real phenomenon. They aren’t intended to add to the text, but they do act as compelling evidence that God wrote the Bible. (PDF file; 12 pages.)

1/28/2024: Benjamin Franklin’s Religion He was not a Christian. He believed that the God who created this universe doesn’t care about us and doesn’t desire our worship, which is not what the Bible says. (PDF file; 4 pages.)

1/28/2024: Are People Just Animals? Vegans don’t have the moral high ground – and it’s wrong to kill people to save the lives of animals. (PDF file; 5 pages.)

1/28/2024: Are Altar Calls Biblical? Not only are altar calls utterly unbiblical, but they’re dangerous as well. Why? Because they give a false assurance of salvation to people who never repented and don’t understand the gospel. (PDF file; 14 pages.)

1/28/2024: An Everlasting Possession. On four separate occasions God said He was giving the land of Canaan to Abraham and his descendants as an everlasting possession. He has not changed His mind. (PDF file; 15 pages.)

1/27/2024: All Things Work Together For Good. Romans 8:28 is a precious promise indeed – but sometimes the good that God is accomplishing through our pain is for someone else, not ourselves. (PDF file; 7 pages.)

1/27/2024: Aliens and UFOs. Many stories of aliens and alien abductions point to demonic activity, not genuine extraterrestrials. (PDF file; 7 pages.)

1/26/2024: Predicting the Rapture. The Bible doesn’t tell us the exact date when our Lord Jesus Christ will return. However, it does give us signs to watch for. Jesus will return when the final sign comes to pass. (PDF file; 27 pages.)
