Catholics like to insist that Mary remained a virgin all of her life. However, Jesus did have brothers. The Catholic Church claims that these people are actually cousins, but there was a real Greek word for cousin and it was not used here. Jesus had brothers – such as James, for example. This can be seen in many places.
