Matthew 13:24-25

Posted by joncooper

Matthew 13:24: “Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field:
25 But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way.”

Someone once pointed out that no wheat became tares, and no tares became wheat. The wheat was wheat the entire time, and so were the tares. The reason the Lord allowed them to grow together was because when they fully matured it would be obvious which was the wheat and which was the tares. Time would reveal their true nature.
