The End
The oldest post on this blog was published on February 28, 2007. Five years later, this blog is now home to more than a thousand posts, and quite a few books too.
I’ve written a lot of things in the past few years and have discovered that blogging is unique in one key way: it doesn’t have a good stopping place. When you write a book, you eventually get to the last chapter; when you write a computer game you eventually ship it and move on to the next project. But blogging just goes on and on forever. It looms over one like a task that can never be finished.
The past five years have been a lot of fun, but I am tired and I have run out of things to say. It is time to end this endless project and move on to something else.
