I John 5:7
I John 5:7: “For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.”
Here we find the doctrine of the Trinity, which Mormons and Muslims especially hate. This doctrine is taught throughout Scripture, but here we find it stated in very plain and straightforward terms. There is just one God, but this God is composed of three Persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. These are not three separate gods, but one God in three Persons. As John says, “these three are one”.
