Titus 1:2

Posted by joncooper

Titus 1:2: “In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began;”

The Bible is clear in many places (not just here) that God cannot lie. This is quite different from “Allah”, as Islam teaches that he is capable of doing good or evil. God cannot sin; Allah is free to sin all he wants. This is just another example of why the God of the Bible and Allah are not the same. Allah is not just another name for God; he is something altogether different. The Biblical God is holy, upright, and truthful; He cannot lie or do evil. It is not in His nature.
