cessation

Posted by benfarmer

searching for a resting place,
unable to keep this grueling pace,
to sit and have sweet repose,
know the fragrance of a rose,

yet am I found by immersing grace,
filling up this darkened place,
for Jesus to pour such precious blood,
cleansing is the crimson flood,

that He would touch me, one so low,
deepness of His love I can never know,
so tired of running alone,
this is all I have ever known,

the crushing burden I yet carry,
for what do I still tarry?
all to Him I must resign,
submitting to His perfect design.
